Social Media Manager - Videos (Unpaid)

Position Overview:

Emboldly is looking for a highly creative and trend-savvy Social Media Video Content Manager to join our team. This individual will take the lead on producing short-form video content for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels, creating 2–3 engaging videos per week. If you have a strong pulse on social media trends, love experimenting with formats and soundtracks, and are a skilled video editor with a passion for storytelling—we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, script, film, and edit 2–3 short-form videos per week for TikTok and Instagram Reels.

  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, audio trends, and viral formats to inspire content ideas.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with Emboldly’s brand voice and messaging.

  • Pitch and storyboard creative ideas that highlight Emboldly’s programming, community members, and mission.

  • Edit video content using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, InShot, or similar platforms.

  • Optimize content for social media platform algorithms, formats, and best practices.

  • Monitor content performance and incorporate feedback to improve engagement and reach.

Time commitment: 2-4 hours/week

Requirements:

  • Proficient in video editing tools (e.g. CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut or similar).

  • Strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram Reels culture, trends, and algorithm dynamics.

  • Experience scripting and producing short-form video content.

  • Ability to independently manage a content calendar and meet weekly deadlines.

  • Eye for detail, visual storytelling, and brand-aligned aesthetics.

  • Bonus: Experience in front of the camera, voiceover work, or managing social platforms.

  • Portfolio or sample of past video work is required with application.
