Outreach Coordinator (Unpaid)

Remote - Part-Time

Position Overview:

The Outreach Coordinators will support the Workshops Director in executing partnership development and outreach strategies that advance the organization’s virtual workshop programming. This role will involve identifying new partnership opportunities, managing outreach to speakers, and coordinating logistics with brands and external speakers. The ideal candidate will be a great communicator, highly organized, proactive, and passionate about advancing women’s equity in the workplace in unique ways, both from an events and programming level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partnership Support: Identify, coordinate, and maintain relationships with new and existing partners and external speakers.

  • Outreach Campaigns: Help design and execute outreach initiatives aimed at increasing the organization's visibility and engagement with external stakeholders.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate communications with partners, sponsors, and community organizations, ensuring timely follow-up and consistent engagement.

  • Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of partnerships and in-person/virtual events, ensuring smooth logistics and effective partnership strategies.

  • Database Management: Maintain accurate records of partnerships and outreach activities, tracking engagement metrics and ensuring up-to-date information.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with program teams to align outreach efforts with organizational goals and priorities.

  • Content Support: Create outreach materials such as emails, presentations, and reports to communicate with partners and potential supporters.

Time commitment: 4-6 hours / week

Requirements:

  • Pursuing or has Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, management, or a related field

  • 0-1+ years of experience in relevant roles (e.g., nonprofit, consulting, business development, event planning, partnerships, marketing, etc.) 

  • Demonstrated commitment to advancing gender equity and women’s empowerment, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in this space.

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with external partners and internal teams.

  • Creative and innovative thinker who knows how to effective execute out-of-the-box and unique concepts

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement, public representation, and strategic presentations.

  • Experience translating strategic goals into actionable outreach plans and building long-term relationships with donors and partners.
